Milliman Medical Index 2024: $32,066 for a family of four

How do you boil a frog?

Milliman has published their 2024 Medical Index, and it’s not great news.

Healthcare costs for an average family of four on an employer-sponsored plan will be $32,066 this year. We’re collectively going to pay 6.7% more for healthcare this year. The overall increase is driven by a 13% increase in Rx spending.

The water is getting awfully warm, isn’t it?
