Next time someone wonders aloud why we need controls like prior authorization between providers and patients, give them $2 billion reasons.

The simple reason we as a country cannot and should not simply approve everything a provider requests is because there are bad actors who commit massive fraud.

Think about what $2 billion could do for struggling patients or rural hospitals.
